In this very high building the space shuttle is assembled. Every star in the flag is about 2 m high !

With this vehicle the shuttle is transported from the assembly building to the start ramp.
It moves at the speed of an old lady who crosses the street.

The 'butt' of the Saturn V rocket, which brought Neil Amstrong to the moon and back! (Not this one of course)
They landed there on the 21.7.1969 and Amstrong said his famous words:
"A small step for a man, but a giant leap for mankind"
