Sweet sixteen 8: Renault Classik Days in Theley, Germany On May 22nd Viktor and I went to Saarland, Germany, to visit the Renault-Classik Days in Theley. Till, the webmaster of www.renault-klassik.de invited, and lots came. A total of nearlyt 60 Renaults from the Fifties to the Nineties could be seen: R4 (lots of), R5 (also the original Turbo) and Super5, R6, R8 Gordini, R12 and Dacia (a R12 made in Romania), R14, R16, R18, R20, R21, R25, R30, Fuego, Dauphine, 4CV, Caravelle, Alpine A106, A310 and V6 GT, additional two MGs and a BMW Coupé. Especially the familiar atmosphere made this meeting something special: the common things were in the foreground, and finally I had the chance to meet some users from the Renault Klassik Forum personally. I want to recommend thios forum once again to all Renault enthusiasts - you´ll find comfort and advise in all your Renault affairs. Although it´s in German, many users speak English too, and will answer your questions. A lot of nice talks, fine people and one or another beer made the event complete. Viktor had a location of honour in the exhibition hall, together with a top restored Caravelle from 1967. Therefore he was not able to attend the (unfortunately short) dayout. As well going there and return were without problems, Viktor feels best at a cruising speed of 120 km/h. 1900 km all together, at an average fuel cnsumption of 8,5 litres. I have the best memories of this meeting and like to thank once again all participants, but special thanks to Till and Schnissje who organised everything!
