Peter Legat must have been thinking „Small is beautiful“ as he thrilled and surprised the intimate audience with his live trio “Team Legat.”
The composer and guitarist usually is on the worlds larger stages with his 11 strong band Count Basic.
It took just under 5 years of production time to present Team Legats first studio album “Sick conversion”. The trio is complimented by Peter Legat (Guitar), Michael Dörfler (Programming & Electronics) und Dieter Kolbeck (Keyboards) and by likewise powerful, sensual voice of singer Anji Hinke
Team Legat changes between stylish Electro dance floor sounds (Wax, Ghost Story) and groovy, jazzy pop songs (On Night and Day, Walk On By, Talk to me).
Incorporated throughout “Sick Conversation” is a harmonic fusion of the typical Peter Legat guitar sound, the unmistakable playing from Dieter Kolbeck on the Rhodes and Michael Dörflers production skills.
Anji Hinke (Vocals) and outstanding star guests rounds off this hot sound mixture (the legendery Bumi Fian is even to be heard in one of his last recordings on “Sick Conversation”).
