The Blues Brothers Band became famous because of many reasons. One of them was their unique sound and the breathtaking performances of Jake and Elwood Blues.
Now THE ORIGINAL BROTHERS continue the "mission" with modified versions of all-time classics of the legendary time of "Stax" and "Motown" plus many new original songs.
Here, you'll find reviews of all CD's that have been released so far:
This CD was entirely recorded "live" at the "Conrad Sohm", a club in Dornbirn (Austria). T.O.B.'s unique version of "Dock Of The Bay", a real classic from the great Otis Redding, became a minor hit.
Austria's only nationwide radiostation played it daily from August to mid-October '94. Unfortunately, the CD is no longer available (only on M.C.).
Fourteen tracks were recorded live at T.O.B.'s concert on new-years-eve in the Radio PSR Musichall in Leipzig (Germany). With over 5.000 visitors, this concert was one of the largest indoor-events, T.O.B. performed so far.
Beside the live-recordings, the CD features four further songs that were recorded in studios.
Some of the songs can be heard (with "Shockwave") at "T.O.B.'s Music !
With this CD-single, the "Brothers" wanted to show, that they're definitely able to find a true relation between the sound of the 60ies and the 90ies.
The single became T.O.B. greatest "Hit" so far, as it made it into the national "Top50 Antenne-airplay-charts". It was in the charts for seven weeks and reached #17.
