The little fishing village is located 120 km south from Fortaleza, the capital of Ceara with the international airport. PARAJURU is a little paradise for those who are interested in becoming part of the Brazilian way of life, sports and nature – apart from the crowded kite-beaches of Combucco in the north. The easiest way to get there is to rent a car or just take the bus.

Parajuru accomodates many little shops where you can find everything you need for a self-catering holiday. But you’ll also find there a lot of little genuine restaurants with great seafood, pizzeria, churrascaria, Internet-cafe, petrol-station, post-office, drugstore and a lot of typical Brazilian bars with great and cheap Caipirinha. For those who want to escape this relaxed Brazilian idyll, you can go to the more touristy place called Canoa Quebrada, which is just a little more south.
