Where should we aim to stay..?
Basically, the church and the reception are on the south side of the city.
The Church is in the 4th district & the Reception is in the 13th district.
So as you look at a map of the city try to avoid the north and aim towards the south or south-west.
Any hotels you can recomend..?
The Hotel Bergwirt seems quite nice and it's not a million miles from the reception. Or maybe a booking agent like Venere can help further.
How long does it take from the airport to the city?
About 30 mins. Vienna is awash with taxi companies like Taxi 60 1 60 or Taxi 40 100
Is there a dress-code or a special theme?
Nope - nothing special.
How warm or cold is it normally mid-September in Vienna?
It's likely still to be quite mild - maybe 20 degrees. But you may want to bring a light jacket just in case.
(It never rains in Vienna!)
What's the distance between the church & the reception?
About 30 mins by taxi, maybe 45 mins by public transport.
Is there a wedding list for presents?
Over the years we've accumulated all the basics for our flat - so there's no wedding list and we are simply happy that you're joining us.
