Self Catering City Studio Apartment in Vienna Austria

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

My self-catering apartment in Vienna is a fully equipped accommodation appropriate for vacations and holidays. It is available for short term or longer periods of time and is rented directly from the owner. The interior (55 sq. M. / 592 sq. Ft. ) is an open space divided into areas rather than separate rooms. It is composed of a living area, equipped with a dining table, LLoyd Loom sitting group, a additional sofa, TV, and writing table. Beyond this, there is a sleeping area and spacious walk-in-closet. The fully equipped kitchen is situated next to the entrance. In addition there is a separate bathroom. The room height of 360 cm. (circa 12 ft.) makes this holiday studio apartment extraordinarily spacious and light. It is best suited for 2 persons but can comfortably accommodate up to 4. The apartment was renovated and modernized in 2002. It's character has been preserved with the retention of historic elements including brick arches and visible wooden beams.

2 LOCATION IN THE CITY:

The apartment is situated very close to the center of the City, in the 7th Viennese district, only 20 minutes on foot from Stephansplatz and Graben. Being close to the very historic center of Vienna, it is a short walk from Parliament, City Hall, the Opera House, and the main art museums and theaters on the Ring Strasse. It is on the first floor of a mid-19th century land-marked building which was constructed in the 1850's. It has the historic style and character of Biedermeyer with some Mediterranean touches. It is positioned in the first courtyard of an impressive pedestrian passage-way, it is away from street noise and very quiet.

3 PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

system in Vienna is comfortable, efficient and secure. Because of the apartment's central location, you can get to almost all destinations of interest either on foot or by using near-by stops for bus lines, trams or underground stations. They are all in a radius of 3 to 10 minute walks. You really do not need to rely on a personal vehicle, but, if you enter the city with a car, there is a public garage in front of Museums District , (Museumquartier). The distance is less then 10 minutes on foot.

4 SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

Special conditions are available for a longer period. It is preferable to ask for reservation at least a month in advance, if possible.
Note: I cannot accommodate pets although I'll try to be flexible.
