In 1996 Stock & Aitken produced songs for yet another actor. Known from the TV series "London's burning", John tried to emulate Robson & Jerome's success, but could only score 3 minor hits. A whole album of cover versions was recorded and released, but sales were below expectations and only around 6.000 copies were sold. Three singles were released: Smoke gets in your eyes (13) Blue moon/Only you (9) If/Keep on running (24) A 4th and final single was scheduled for release in March 1997, "Let it be me". Unfortunately it was pulled. Only promo copies exist of this track. (highest UK chart position)
