Project Phase Plan – What is that?

The purpose of the Project Phase Plan(s) is to describe in more detail the managerial aspects of the project.
Also managerial aspects of deliverables for certain phase(s) and/or sub-projects shall be included – especially the acceptance criteria of the deliverables of each Project Phase.

The Project Phase Plan(s) document shall only be included once in the project documentation. It shall also be mandatory .
Under certain circumstances (e.g. the project is rather small) the Project Manager can decide not to include the Project Phase Plan in the documentation. In such a case it shall be documented and motivated in the Project Handbook and it shall also be mandatory to specify each of the acceptance criteria for each deliverable in the Deliverables Log (which then shall become mandatory document !)
