Making necklaces, bracelets and earrings shown here has turned out to be one of the most rewarding income-generating activities by the street children. HOPE-F-U-L has been able to give away hundreds of necklaces so far in return for small donations from interested individuals and organizations. The necklaces come with a little tag showing some of the street children at the HOPE-F-U-L orphanage in Kampala and makes for a creative, but most of all socially conscious gift.

As the kids are attending school now and we need more beads than kids love to do during their leisure or arts&crafts hours, we have decided to buy necklaces from a group of local women who form parts of a Women’s AIDS Project.
