Of course, we need to “think beyond” – i.e. what will happen to our children once they finish S7. Therefore, we are trying to get in touch with training institutions, workshops, specifically apprenticeship schools (e.g. our contact school in Fort Portal) and try to place our children there for further vocational training.
With our friends at Mulagao hospital we are investigating possibilities to enlist some of our ambitious graduates into courses for nurses.
Maybe, some of our kids will be ambitious and talented to consider attending university college.
Privately, Leo & Gudrun have been sponsoring a student at Kampala International University and have had excellent experience so far as this student will graduate this year. We hope we can get support/sponsors for potential students – such as Joweria!
