Making necklaces, bracelets and earrings shown here has turned out to be one of the most rewarding income-generating activities by the street children. The children make the colourful beads from waste paper material, which is sometimes died to produce bright colours.

HOPE-F-U-L has been able to give away hundreds of necklaces so far in return for small donations from interested individuals and organizations. The jewellery made by HOPE-F-U-L street children is particularly valued among school children in Austria - the home-base of HOPE-F-U-L - as well as by adults. It comes with a little tag showing some of the street children at the HOPE-F-U-L orphanage in Kampala and makes for a creative as well as socially conscious gift.
